Will the Emerald Archer meet the Girl of Steel?
Now that we have seen
pictures of Grant Gustin in costume on the set
of Supergirl the big question
is will we see Stephen Amell don
the hood in
National City? The duality of the two characters would be a gift
to behold; even
though
Oliver has turned over a new leaf and is trying to be a better version of
himself inherently he is still on
the cynical side, where Kara sees the best in
every person. Plus if Oliver
is there we have to hope Diggle is
there and who
doesn’t want to see his reaction to Supergirl?
In a
recent interview
with IGN when
asked if he would like to see what Oliver makes of Supergirl girl
Stephen
answered:
“Sure! In this
iteration of the DC Universe, the
“Television Universe” as it were, I’m the
guy that’s been around the
longest,
so I always feel — whether I’m on a show or I’m not on a show —
I always
feel as though I
can in some way, shape or form represent them, and I always
want them to be
wildly successful and last for
many more years than we end up
lasting, because I just want to see people
have success. So I would love to go
over to Supergirl. That would be a blast, if for no other reason than I miss
shooting in Los Angeles.
[Laughs]”
All that is left now is to pray to our
lord and savior Greg
Berlanti that he will let us
have this cross over!
