‘Supernatural’ Preview “The Vessel”

‘Supernatural’ Preview
“The Vessel”

On
the next episode of
Supernatural, the story will get back
around to
Lucifer in his shiny new vessel. Dean will once again travel back
in time when
he is sent back
to retrieve a key piece of the puzzle in Lucifer’s plan to stop

Amara.

LUCI
FER (AS CASTIEL) SENDS DEAN BACK IN TIME – Hoping to
find a weapon powerful
enough to defeat Amara (guest
star Emily Swallow), Dean
(Jensen Ackles) convinces “Castiel,” (Misha
Collins) who is still Lucifer, to

send him back in time to the last reported sighting of the Hand of God.
Lucifer
sees the potential in
getting his hands on this weapon so goes along as Castiel
and sends Dean to
1944 to the fated submarine
mission that sunk the Hand of God.
Meanwhile, continuing his charade with
Sam (Jared Padalecki) while they
wait for
Dean’s return, Lucifer plans his next move. John Badham directed
the episode
written by Robert
Berens.

These past few monster-of-the-
week
episodes have been a lot
of fun, and a great way to rebond Sam and Dean in their
current crisis.
However, I think it is a good move to
get back to this season’s
arc and see what the devil has in store to stop
his Auntie Darkness. I am also

looking forward to see more of Lucifer try to initiate Castiel when he’s

waiting with Sam in the present
while Dean is working in the
past.

Are you diggin’ the
new and improved Lucifer in

Cas’s vessel? Have we seen the last of the Castiel we know and love?

Supernatural season 11,
episode 14 “The Vessel” airs on Wednesday,
February 17 at 9/8C on the CW.
