Mike and Ike are interviewing guys to help babysit Brian. All are failing until one guy, Spike, redeems himself through his similar interests in
music and movies.
While sifting through files from a Pakistani satellite, Harris tells him that the buttons from Morra’s coat are different that he remembers… If she finds out that Brian switched the coats, he is a dead man.
Q calls and asks from Brian to help find out who murdered his collegiate, Eloise Carlisle. She had been working on a project that involved mind files, its almost like an external hard drive for your brain. Her mind file is still up and running but it doesn’t reveal anything useful.
Later that night, Brian gives Mr. Sands the original coat that Morra was wearing, the one with NZT. Brian earned his booster shot even though Harris is still investigating the coat.
Instead of making us watch him as he hacks into Eloise’s program, Brian provides us with a nice video of a dog. 🙂
Bill Cumber, a suspect said that he put a spyware on Eloise’s computer and found out that she was selling mind files. The files of geniuses were sold to a man- The Scrub Jay.
Brian sends Spike on errands to pick up paint supplies. He is going to recreate “The Naked Pale Man”. Without the proper muse, Spike offers to be a live subject.
Mike tells Ike that he is getting a promotion and that Spike is his replacement. Ike is not happy and thinks there is something fishy about Spike.
Brian puts the painting on the web and he and Scrub Jay meet and discuss Eloise. But not for long because Scrub Jay falls to the ground, unable to breathe.
Scrub Jay’s death revealed the whereabouts of many rare artifacts and the name of the guy who bought the mind files. A man named John. Just John.
John claims he bought them to keep them out of the wrong hands.
Brian and Harris decide to fiddle with Eloise’s program and create an Eloise 2.0. She tells Brian that someone was threatening her. A guy named Gerard.
Boyle interrupts them to tell Harris that the clerk is back at the evidence locker. In order to save himself, Brian must make major progress in the Eloise case.
Gerard is brought in for questioning, apparently he and Eloise had a fling. He took the mind files and poisoned the Scrub Jay to cover his tracks. Brian offers to give
Gerard sometime with the new Eloise in exchange for his confession.
Ike claims that Spike is a snake and in a Brian-esque fashion, they explain to Naz that Spike is a mole.
Brian knew about Spike, he was a little too obvious.
Harris comes to visit Brian and he is getting more and more nervous. She tells him that the clerk died from a peanut allergy. She thinks someone killed him.
What did Mr. Sands do? Is Brian safe? I guess we’ll find out next week.
